Handstand Movement Kids Workshop, Stockport, 5th April 2023

At the Handstand Movement we are all about helping everyone to learn how to do as handstand which is why along side our adults workshops we have decided to start teaching kids.

In this workshop, your child will learn all the fundamentals they need to know to get upside down. They will learn the importance of protecting and strengthening their wrists, how to use their fingers to assist balance, shoulder positioning, the correct alignment, how to kick up and most importantly, how to fall. All exercises can be progressed or regressed accordingly. This workshop is for kids ages 7-12 years old.

After purchase, we will be sending out a form for you to fill in to give some more information about your child please look out for this in your inbox.

THE COACHES

For this workshop their will be 2 coaches on hand to help everyone who attends and spaces are limited to ensure every child  benefits from attending.

Natalie (@theoutspoken30s) –

Handstand Addict and Founder of THM. Natalie has been helping people get upside down since she started the movement back in April 2020 and started coaching in person in May 2021. Since then she has had lots of experience with a variety of people at different stages of their handstand journey and helped them all learn the fundaments of a handstand and along with building their strength and confidence to perform one. Natalie is a self-declared handstand addict so be prepared for lots of enthusiasm! Natalie will be heading up the workshop.

Beth @bethhhh4) –
Since she could walk, Beth has attended gymnastics lessons. At the age of 14, Beth began assisting her coach with the beginners. A few years later, Beth gained her Level 1 Teaching Gymnastics and Level 2 Activity Coach qualifications whilst also attending adult gymnastics classes at MAG! She started teaching children gymnastics in a local leisure centre and later taught handstand classes to adults.
