At Handstand Movement, we are passionate about helping individuals of all skill levels achieve their handstand goals. Join us on Sunday 18th May 2025, at CrossFit Warrington for two exciting workshops tailored to your handstand journey.
Whether you’re looking to build confidence as a beginner-intermediate or refine your technique at an intermediate level, these workshops are designed to provide expert guidance, focused practice, and plenty of encouragement.
Please note this is an adults workshops so only over 18s can attend.

Beginners Handstand Workshop
10.30am – 1.30pm
Perfect for those new to handstands or for anyone who has never tried one before, this workshop is designed to build a strong foundation for your handstand journey.
We’ll start with a full-body warm-up to activate and prepare your muscles, followed by stretches to improve mobility and reduce the risk of injury. From there, you’ll learn:
- Handstand Alignment: Understanding the mechanics of a straight and stable handstand.
- Chest-to-Wall Position: Building strength and confidence in this foundational position.
- Falling Safely: How to exit a handstand by learning to fall gracefully.
- Kicking Up to the Wall: Step-by-step guidance on finding the courage and technique to kick up confidently.
Begintermediate Handstand Workshop
2.30pm – 5.30pm
Ideal for those who can kick up but want to improve balance and hold time.
This workshop bridges the gap between beginners and intermediate handstanders. It’s ideal for those who have mastered kicking up to the wall and feel comfortable in a chest-to-wall position.
We’ll start with a full-body warm-up to activate and prepare your muscles, followed by stretches to improve mobility and reduce the risk of injury. From there, you’ll learn:

- Refining Your Chest-to-Wall Position: Building strength and learning advanced drills to improve balance while maintaining alignment.
- Learning to Balance: Techniques for finding balance in both chest-to-wall and back-to-wall positions, helping you feel more confident and in control.
- Falling with Confidence: Practicing safe exits through cartwheeling so you can move forward without fear of falling.
- Kicking Up Away from the Wall: Developing the technique and confidence to kick up and begin holding a handstand without wall support.
This session is designed to help you progress toward freestanding balance while solidifying key skills at the wall.
What You’ll Recieve
Each participant will get a complimentary goody bag containing:

- A trigger point ball to support your practice.

Since embarking on this path, Natalie has cultivated extensive expertise by working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill levels, tailoring her guidance to meet their unique handstand aspirations. Her coaching prowess lies in guiding aspiring handstand enthusiasts through the fundamental principles, empowering them to develop strength, balance, and the unwavering confidence necessary to master this dynamic art form.
