At the Handstand Movement, we are dedicated to helping individuals of all skill levels and abilities master the art of handstands. Our goal is to empower everyone with the guidance, practice, and determination they need to achieve this exciting skill.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience with handstands, our workshops are designed to cater to your specific handstand journey. We create a supportive and inclusive environment where you feel encouraged to explore and challenge yourself.

During our workshop, we will teach you the fundamental elements necessary for a successful handstand, including proper alignment, balance, and technique. We provide a step-by-step approach that gradually progresses to more advanced exercises, ensuring that participants of all levels can benefit.

To start, we will guide you through a comprehensive warm-up designed to prepare your body for handstand training. This warm-up includes mobility exercises, joint rotations, and activation drills that target the specific muscles and areas essential for a strong handstand practice.

After the warm-up, we will move on to specific handstand drills and exercises. We will break down the mechanics of handstands, teaching you proper alignment, hand placement, and body positioning. Our experienced instructors will offer variations and modifications suitable for beginners and those with more experience.

Safety is of utmost importance, and we will provide instruction on how to safely exit a handstand. We will demonstrate different techniques and share practical advice to help you gracefully and safely dismount from a handstand, minimizing the risk of injury.

Mastering the kick-up into a handstand is a significant milestone in your handstand journey. Our instructors will guide you through the kicking-up process, offering step-by-step guidance and tips to help you develop the necessary strength, control, and confidence for a successful kick-up into a balanced handstand position.

Throughout the Handstand Workshop, you will engage in a variety of drills and exercises specifically designed to improve your balance and stability while in a handstand. We emphasize proper alignment, weight distribution, and body control, as these elements are crucial for enhancing your overall handstand technique.

During the workshop, we maintain a safe and supportive environment. Our instructors will be available to answer your questions, provide personalized guidance, and address any concerns you may have. Our ultimate goal is to help you build confidence, refine your handstand technique, and ensure you have a fantastic time in the process.

As a participant, you will receive a complimentary goody bag. This bag will contain snacks to keep you fueled throughout the workshop, as well as a trigger point ball to assist you in your handstand practice.

Upon purchase, we would love to gain an understanding of your current handstand level. The easiest way for us to gauge this is for you to provide your Instagram tag. This enables us to tailor the workshop appropriately and provide you with the best possible workshop experience! All exercises can be progressed or regressed accordingly.

Please note this is an adults workshops so only over 18s can attend.
