Handstand Movement Begintermediate Workshop
Date: Saturday 2nd July 2022
Time: 11:00am – 2.00pm
Location: Siren Asylum, 24 Missouri Ave, Salford, M50 2NP
Prerequisites: Comfortable kicking up into a handstand against a wall. Confident holding a chest to wall for a minimum of 20 seconds.
In this workshop, you will learn endurance, varied entries, balance, more advanced two arm shapes and most importantly, improve your handstand alignment. The drills covered will be executed using a wall, box and freestanding. We can regress any drill or exercise if needed.
Upon purchase, we would love you to give us an understanding of your current handstand level – the easiest way for us to gauge this is for you to provide your Instagram tag. This enables us tailor the workshop appropriately and provide you with the best possible workshop experience! All exercises can be progressed or regressed accordingly.

Natalie (@theoutspoken30s) –
Handstand Addict and Founder of THM. Natalie has been helping people get upside down since she started the movement back in April 2020 and started coaching in person in May 2021. Since then she has had lots of experience with a variety of people at different stages of their handstand journey and helped them all learn the fundaments of a handstand and along with building their strength and confidence to perform one. Natalie is a self-declared handstand addict so be prepared for lots of enthusiasm! Natalie will be heading up the workshop.
Paula (@paulaonhands)
Paula is 22 years old and also in love with handstands and controlling her body. Due to a knee injury in March 2020, she was not capable of exercising nor walking. With no gymnastic background she decided to learn how to do a handstand assuming (mistakenly) that one does not need the legs at all. Paula is self taught but openly admits if she had been coached at the start she could have saved many hours of training and a lot of pain. Paula has travelled all over teaching and sharing her passion for handstands and is now coming to Manchester for this one off workshop with the Handstand Movement before heading to Australia to study and teach handstands
